Connect your WHMCS billing system with the VoidPanel API to automatically create, suspend, and manage hosting client accounts instantly.
Module Active
Version v1.0.0
Requires WHMCS 8.0+
Overview
The official VoidPanel server provisioning plugin allows web hosting providers running WHMCS to automate their server delivery operations. By connecting to VoidPanel’s secure REST API v2, you can instantly turn paid invoices into live hosting configurations.
Our module operates in the background, communicating via encrypted curl calls. It automatically passes account parameters (domains, emails, passwords) and binds system-level configurations dynamically without manual action.
Prerequisites
Before launching the integration, verify you satisfy the following deployment requirements:
Server Port Check
Verify that your WHMCS hosting node can establish outgoing network requests to your VoidPanel server port (defaults to 8080). If you configure SSL/HTTPS on the panel daemon, port 443 must be accessible.
An operational installation of WHMCS (v8.0 or newer).
Secure SSL or direct HTTP path access to your VoidPanel admin server.
An active **API Token** generated from your VoidPanel super-admin dashboard.
Module Installation
The VoidPanel provisioning module structure matches WHMCS standards. Follow these steps to install the files on your WHMCS server node:
Download the official ZIP package containing the integration files:
VoidPanel WHMCS Module
ZIP package containing voidpanel.php and server asset logo.
Extract the ZIP file locally. The folders should reveal the server directory:
modules/servers/voidpanel/
Upload the voidpanel directory onto your WHMCS server file structure at the following path:
[WHMCS ROOT]/modules/servers/
Verify the destination folder contains the core files voidpanel.php and logo.png.
WHMCS Server Setup
Once files are uploaded, register your VoidPanel server node as a provisioning destination inside WHMCS Admin:
Log into your WHMCS Admin Panel.
Navigate to System Settings > Servers (or *Setup > Products/Services > Servers* depending on version).
Click Add New Server.
Fill out the configuration fields exactly as illustrated in the interactive mockup below:

WHMCS Product Setup
Map your WHMCS billable products directly to your custom VoidPanel hosting packages:
Navigate to System Settings > Products/Services.
Create a new product or edit an existing one (e.g. *Shared Hosting* or *VPS* product type).
Go to the Module Settings tab.
Select Voidpanel in the *Module Name* dropdown.
Choose your registered server group or server.
In the Hosting Package text field, input the **exact name** of the package configured in VoidPanel (e.g., default, basic, or business).
Note: Package names are case-sensitive and must match exactly.
Choose your preferred automation option (e.g., *Automatically provision product as soon as the first payment is received*).
Click Save Changes.
Required API Token Scopes
To follow security best practices, do not run connections with root keys that possess global scopes. Instead, configure your API Token in the VoidPanel dashboard with only the following active scopes:
accounts.create
accounts.suspend
accounts.unsuspend
accounts.terminate
accounts.change_package
accounts.change_password
Security Recommendation
Revoke unused scopes (like DNS edits or global backup updates) from the token key dedicated to the WHMCS module to isolate server risks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Troubleshoot common server integration issues and review FAQs below:
Since VoidPanel enforces custom username schemas (stripping symbols and managing local name collisions automatically), the WHMCS module intercepts the generated username from the successful API response and immediately saves it back to the WHMCS service record (tblhosting.username) using the database Capsule manager, ensuring client details are perfectly synchronised.
This error signifies that WHMCS cannot route packets to the IP address or host port specified. Ensure your firewall (CSF/UFW) on the VoidPanel server node allows incoming connections from your WHMCS server IP on port 8080.
Yes. The module is fully compatible with reseller actions. If you associate your API Token with a Reseller profile, the panel automatically monitors reseller account limits and storage quotas when provisioning new sites, issuing structured quota warning returns if thresholds are exceeded.
Yes. The module implements a custom client area button panel. Clients see a styled link titled "Open Control Panel" which securely routes them to the panel host node login page, presenting their system usernames for a smooth experience.
